2004


May | IP DREAM established in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, to provide services to facilitate communications within companies (capital stock: 10 million yen).
May | Robot Secretary Service, a customizable corporate groupware, launched (still supported).
October | Head office relocated from Roppongi to Uchikanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
October | Developed applications and solutions for NTT's videophone services (for companies using NTT’s Flet’s Phone) and launched a videoconferencing service for convenience stores.


2006


May | Head office relocated from Uchikanda to Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
August | Head office relocated from Uchisaiwaicho to Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.


2007


July | Head office relocated from Nishi-Shinbashi to Yutenji, Meguro-ku, Tokyo.


2008


September | Received the Award for Excellence in the Japan Telework Association’s 9th Telework Promotion Awards.


2009


June | Signed an agreement with Wakayama Prefecture and Tanabe City to establish a branch office in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture.
July | Head office relocated from Yutenji to Hatanodai, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
December | Start of the Ubiquitous Special Zone Project (Ubiquitous: proof-of-concept for international standardization of tourism information).


2010


November | Entered into an agreement with U.S. company HyperOffice for the exclusive distribution, resale and development rights of the collaboration tool HyperOffice (with more than 300,000 international users) in Japan and Asia, and launched the service locally.


2011


October | Launched the social learning service OpenSkySchool (later named Drill) launched.


2012


January | Registered as application developer for the Hikari i-frame Android tablet series of NTT East.
January | Entered into a premium reseller agreement with U.S. company Vidyo Inc. as a White Level Partner for selling their leading teleconferencing solution Vidyo in Japan and began sales operations.
February | Concluded a distributorship agreement with NTT Advanced Technology Corporation for their conference microphone speaker series R-Talk and began sales operations.
March | Began providing services for energy management, such as for bathing facilities and for sensor management (both actively supported).
November | Entered into an agreement with HyperOffice as their Asian development partner to jointly develop their new service Share.to.


2013


January | Signed a software license agreement with Vidyo Inc., and began providing related services as a hosting service provider.
January | Formed a business alliance with I-NET Corporation for cloud service business. Began joint development of Dream Office (HyperOffice) and MobileMeets (Vidyo).
August | Selected for Project to Support for Market Operations Using Regional Strengths - Model Business for the Enhancement of SME Sales Capabilities 2013.
November | Dream Office (HyperOffice) and MobileMeets (Vidyo) registered in MINONARUKI, Hitachi Systems, Ltd.’s open cloud marketplace.


2014


September | Head office relocated from Hatanodai to Hiratsuka, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
December | Acquired WICKS Corporation (established November 2011), a bidirectional M2M radio wave utilization company that specialized in white space frequencies.


2015


January | Entered into a service partnership agreement with HyperOffice concerning their cutting-edge services Atlas and Share.to (exclusive development rights for IP DREAM).
April | Acquired HyperOffice as a wholly owned subsidiary.
May | Acquired Tekuchuru KK becomes a wholly owned subsidiary (merger in Aug. 2015)


2017


June | Head office relocated from Hiratsuka to Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.


2018


February | Joint exhibition at the Mobile World Congress 2018 (Barcelona) with partner company Neus Mobile Limited, showcasing Share.to and IP DREAM's multilingual simultaneous translation and interpretation service SmaLingual.
June | License agreement with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) for use of their multilingual translation engine.


2019


April | Strategic alliance with U.S. company VirnetX Inc. related to the development of their Gabriel service.
June | License agreement with NICT for the use of their multilingual translation engine.
July | Strategic Alliance with U.S. company Bolt Mobility Corporation to establish an electric mobility business in Japan.
October | SmaLingual exhibited at NICT's Global Communication Development Promotion Council area booth at CEATEC 2019.
November | Designated as one of the 100 Telework Pioneers by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in FY2019.


2020


February | Signed an exclusive contract with Bolt Mobility Corporation for the development and manufacture of their electric mobility devices, their exclusive operation in Japan and Asia, and related consulting.
September | Head office relocated from Nishi-Gotanda to Nishi-Shinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.


2021


January | Exclusive development agreements with Bolt Mobility Corporation, Hitachi-Omron Terminal Solutions, Hitachi Terminal Mechatronics, and Hitachi Cable, Ltd.

2022


May | Company name in Japanese officially changed to IP DREAM Inc.
